By downloading or using Klawssmäte ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is published by Apppiggy LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," "our").
Klawssmäte is a personal study-organization tool. It helps you organize course schedules, deadlines, outlines, and study materials on your own device. It is provided free of charge.
Dates, times, deadlines, exam schedules, and other information in the app come from what you (or an AI service you chose) enter or import, and may be incomplete or incorrect because of typos, syllabus changes, parsing errors, or ambiguous source documents.
You are responsible for confirming all dates and requirements against official sources: your registrar, your school's learning-management system (such as Canvas), and your professors. Do not rely on Klawssmäte as your only record of when an assignment is due or an exam is held. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, missed exams, grade consequences, or any other loss resulting from reliance on information in the app.
Reminders, study-timer alerts, and alarm challenges depend on your device's operating system and settings, which can delay, silence, or prevent them (for example, in Focus/Do Not Disturb modes, when notifications are disabled, when the device is off, or due to platform limits on background apps). Do not rely on Klawssmäte as your sole alarm for anything important. Use a dedicated alarm for events you cannot afford to miss.
If you use the "import with your own AI" feature, you do so through a third-party service of your own choosing, under your own account. You are responsible for your use of that service, for complying with its terms, and for reviewing anything it produces before relying on it. Klawssmäte does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party AI services or their output.
You keep all rights to the course information, notes, and other content you put into the app. Because that content is stored only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up (the app provides a backup-export function) and for its accuracy. You are responsible for having the right to import any material you bring into the app.
Klawssmäte is an organizational tool. Nothing in it, including any AI-generated outline, quiz, flashcard, or case brief, is legal advice, academic advice, or a substitute for your own study, your course materials, or your professors' instructions.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apppiggy LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, academic standing, or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version is posted at this URL.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
